Using Easyhomeincanada You will post your business ad in the appropriate category or area and will not do any of the following prohibited activities:
  • violate any laws or our Prohibited Content Policy;
  • distribute or contain spam, chain letters, or pyramid schemes;
  • distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm easyhomeincanada or the interests or property of easyhomeincanada users;
  • be false or misleading;
  • infringe any third-party right;
  • impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or interfere with the proper working of the easyhomeincanada system;
  • copy, modify, or distribute any other person's content;
  • use any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access easyhomeincanada and collect content for any purpose without our express written permission;
  • harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent;
  • bypass measures used to prevent or restrict access to easyhomeincanada.

What are the rules for using Easyhomeincanada?

The following activities are prohibited from Easyhomeincanada:
  • Posting an Ad if you are not located in Canada, unless you are a certified immigration consultant
  • Posting a Business that is not located in Canada
  • Posting duplicate Ads in multiple categories or multiple cities unless you are a business with branches
  • Posting a business or service using multiple different email addresses
  • Posting a business that serves no other purpose other than to send traffic to a web site
  • Posting a multi-level marketing or other prohibited job
  • Posting a business that contains adult, mature or erotic content. Personals are not allowed.
  • Posting an Ad that defames anyone or contains "hate speech"
  • Posting opinions, notices, and discussion topics not in the discussion forums
  • Posting deliberately misleading information
Any Business Ad that do not comply with the Easyhomeincanada policy will be removed from using the site. Additionally, users that violate such policies will be blocked from using Easyhomeincanada in the future.

Our general rule is that you may not list, buy or sell items or services that are illegal to own, buy or sell in your province of residence, or that are not bought or sold in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws relating to the item you list, buy or sell.

What is not allowed on Easyhomeincanada?
  • Adult or Erotic Products and Services
  • Blood, Bodily Fluids and Body Parts
  • Burglary Tools
  • Counterfeit currency, stamps or coins
  • Counterfeit Products
  • Electronic Surveillance Equipment designed or used primarily to illegally intercept/record the private actions or interactions of others without their knowledge or permission
  • Embargoed Goods
  • Escort or accompanying services
  • Government and Transit Uniforms, IDs and Licenses
  • Illegal Drugs & Drug Paraphernalia
  • Illegal Services
  • Hazardous Materials
  • Fireworks, Destructive Devices and Explosives
  • Identity Documents, Personal Financial Records & Personal Information (in any form, including mailing lists)
  • Items which encourage or facilitate illegal activity (such as mod chips or modding services)
  • Lottery Tickets, Sweepstakes Entries and Slot Machines
  • Massage services
  • New merchandise or services from network marketing companies, independent franchisees or distributors, or similar representatives
  • Obscene Material and Child Pornography
  • Offensive Material
  • Pesticides
  • Pictures or images that contain nudity
  • Police Badges and Uniforms
  • Prescription Drugs and Devices
  • Prostitution or ads that offer sex, sexual favours or sexual actions in exchange for money
  • Recalled items
  • Satellite products that violate the Radiocommunication Act
  • Sexual services, including webcamming
  • Solicitation of other users except by placing an Ad
  • Stocks and Other Securities
  • Stolen Property
  • Tobacco Products
  • Used Cosmetics
  • Weapons and related items (such as firearms, firearm parts and magazines, ammunition, BB and pellet guns, tear gas, stun guns, switchblade knives, and martial arts weapons)
Can I post duplicate Ads on easyhomeincanada sites or categories?

Your Business Ad should only be posted on the most local Easyhomeincanada site and in the most relevant category. Duplicate Ads are not allowed.

You should only post your Business Ad in the most relevant category. Should you be unsure which category to use for your Ad, try searching and see where others have put similar Ads. If you post the same Ad in multiple categories which aren't relevant, the Ads will be removed from Easyhomeincanada.

You should also only post your Business Ad on the Easyhomeincanada site that's nearest to you or the product or service you're offering. If you post in a city far from the product or service you're offering, your Ads will be removed. Remember, people that are willing to travel will search Esyhomeincanada sites using the distance search feature to find your Ad.

What type of jobs are not allowed on easyhomeincanada?
  • Multi-level marketing jobs where recruitment of other members is part of the compensation
  • Pyramid schemes or jobs that require upfront or periodic payments
  • Jobs that pay only commissions, unless the Ad makes it clear that the sole source of compensation would be commission and clearly describes the product or service that would be sold
  • Jobs that require recruitment of other members, distributors or agents
  • Jobs that involve sexual activities
  • Ads that are not clear regarding what type of work would be required

Can I post my Business Ad to multiple categories?

You should only post your Ad in the most relevant category. If you post the same Ad in multiple categories, it will be removed from easyhomeincanada. Should you be unsure which category to use for your Ad.

Can I link to my web site in my Ad?

You can include a web site address by including a URL in the description of an Ad if you would like to:
  • Link to additional product information
  • Link to a page with more pictures
  • Link to a page with an alternate contact method

Why aren't personal Ads allowed on Easyhomeincanada?

As of June 2010, Easyhomeincanada no longer offers personals categories such as 'relationships, dating' and 'casual encounters'. This decision was based on feedback we've received from our community and because of the spirit of our business itself.

Global Marketplace. Some of easyhomeincanada's features may display your ad on other sites that are part of our global community in other countries. By using easyhomeincanada, you accept that your ads can be displayed on these other sites. The terms for our other sites are similar to these terms, but you may be subject to additional laws or other restrictions in the countries where your ad is posted. When you choose to post your ad to another site, you may be responsible for ensuring that it does not violate our other site policies. We may remove your ad if it is flagged on any of our sites, or if we believe it causes problems or violates any law or policy.

Abusing easyhomeincanada. Please use the flagging system to tell us about any problems or offensive content so that together we can keep the site working properly. We may limit or terminate our service, remove hosted content and take technical and legal steps to keep users off easyhomeincanada if we think that they are creating problems or acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of our policies or discount agreement. We may terminate our service if you do not comply with the offer or discount stated in the signed agreement.However, whether we decide to take any of these steps, remove hosted content or keep a user off easyhomeincanada or not, we do not accept any liability for monitoring easyhomeincanada or for unauthorized or unlawful content on easyhomeincanada or use of easyhomeincanada by users.

Content. Easyhomeincanada contains information from us, you, and other users. You accept not to copy, modify, or distribute easyhomeincanada, our copyrights or trademarks. When you give us content, you are granting us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable right to exercise the copyright, publicity, and database rights to that content. (We need these rights to host and display your content.) If you believe that your rights have been violated, please notify our designated copyright agent at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we will investigate the matter. We reserve the right to remove content where we have basis for suspecting the violation of these terms or of any party’s rights.

Fees, Products and Services. Using easyhomeincanada is generally free. We may charge fees for certain services and for certain products we offer. If the service or product you use charges a fee, you’ll be able to review and accept that charge. Our fees and prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars, and we may change them from time to time. We’ll notify you of changes to our fee policy by posting such changes on the site. We may choose to temporarily change our fees for promotional events, new products or new services; these changes are effective when we announce the promotional event, new product or new service. Our fees are non-refundable, and you are responsible for paying them when they're due. If you don't, we may limit your ability to use the services. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may collect fees owed using other collection mechanisms (for accounts over 180 days past due, we may deduct the amount owed from your PayPal account balance).

Delivery of our products. By buying easyhomeincanada poducts, you accept to the collection, transfer, storage and use of your personal information by Easy Home in Canada Inc. in order to deliver our products to the individual and address stated in our registration formats. Since we depend on the Post Offices Services in Canada and other countries Post services we strongly recommend patience for the arrival of the product purchased. Reporting Intellectual Property Infringements Do not post content that infringes the rights of third parties. This includes, but is not limited to, content that infringes on intellectual property rights such as copyright and trademark (e.g. offering counterfeit items for sale). We reserve the right to remove content where we have grounds for suspecting the violation of these terms, our policies or of any party’s rights. The following steps are for reporting a listing to easyhomeincanada that you believe to be infringing on your intellectual property rights. Only the intellectual property rights owner can report of potentially infringing items or listings through easyhomeincanada's Veracity Program. If you have a good faith belief that a listing on easyhomeincanada infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, all you need to do is download our Intellectual Property Infringement form, fill it out, and fax it to easyhomeincanada. After we receive your first IPI, easyhomeincanada will confirm your enrolment in our program and send you the instructions on how to submit future reports electronically.

Liability. You accept not to hold us responsible for information or products other users post or do. As most of the content on Easyhomeincanada comes from other users, we do not guarantee the accuracy of postings or user communications or the quality, safety, or legality of what’s offered. We also cannot guarantee continuous or secure access to our services. Accordingly, to the extent legally permitted we expressly disclaim all warranties, representations and conditions, express or implied, including those of quality, merchantability, merchantable quality, durability, fitness for a particular purpose and those arising by statute. We are not liable for any loss, whether of money (including profit), goodwill, or reputation, or any special, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of your use of easyhomeincanada, even if you advise us or we could reasonably foresee the possibility of any such damage occurring. Some jurisdictions do not allow the disclaimer of warranties or exclusion of damages, so such disclaimers and exclusions may not apply to you.

Despite the previous paragraph, if we are found to be liable, our liability to you or any third party (whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability in tort, by statute or otherwise) is limited to the greater of (a) the total fees you pay to us in the 12 months prior to the action giving rise to liability, and (b) 10 Canadian Dollars.

Personal Information.
By using easyhomeincanada, you accept to the collection, transfer, storage and use of your personal information by Easy Home in Canada Inc. (the "data controller") on servers located in Canada, the United States and in the European Union as further described in our privacy policy.

General. These terms and the other policies posted on Easyhomeincanada constitute the entire agreement between Easy Home in Canada Inc and you, superseding any prior agreements. This agreement is governed by the laws of Canada. We both submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Montreal, Canada. This won’t affect your statutory rights if you are a consumer and applicable consumer law requires application of another law (such as the law of your country of residence) for certain topics. If we don't enforce any particular provision, we are not waiving our right to do so later. If a court strikes down any of these terms, the remaining terms will survive. We may automatically assign this agreement in our sole discretion in accordance with the notice provision below. We will send information and letters to you via the email address you provide, or by registered mail. Notices sent by registered mail will be considered received 30 days following the date of mailing. We may update this agreement at any time, with updates taking effect when you next use the site or after 5 days, whichever is sooner.
